Donut Moves on to The Masked Singer Season 10 Finale

Wednesday’s Group C Finals were themed to the “Soundtrack to My Life,” as each of the remaining contestants performed songs with special meaning to them. Donut chose to sing “Georgia on My Mind” by Ray Charles.

Donut said they relate to the song, because it’s about “being far away from the one you love.” (They previously shared that their wife passed away.) Donut also revealed that they had the opportunity to perform with Ray Charles himself.

Later in the episode, Donut went head to head with Candelabra in the Battle Royale, as they each performed “Wanted” by Hunter Hayes — who competed on the show as Astronaut and made an appearance in this week’s episode. Donut was chosen to move on the Finals.

Anteater, Candelabra Unmasked

During Wednesday’s episode, two contestants had to be unmasked. Those two contestants were Anteater and Candelabra. First up was Anteater, who performed “Johnny Be Good” by Chuck Berry and teased that he had chatted with panelist Jenny McCarthy.

Guesses from the panel about Anteater’s identity included Jackson Browne, John Cougar Mellencamp, and Billy Joel. However, none of the panel correctly guessed that Anteater was none other than John Oates from the iconic duo Hall & Oates.

Later on, Candelabra was unmasked after a performance of “I’m Going Down” by Mary J. Blige. She teased that she had hung out with Nicole Scherzinger at an industry party. Guesses from the panel about Candelabra’s identity included Kelly Rowland and Brandy.

However, only Scherzinger and Robin Thicke correctly guessed that it was Keyshia Cole under the mask. As Cole joked after her identity was revealed, “I lost to a donut!’
