Although it was just released in theaters at the beginning of October, the sixth installment in the “Exorcist” movie franchise is ready to stream.
“The Exorcist: Believer” will arrive on Peacock on Dec.1. It’s also available to rent or buy on Amazon Prime Video.
In addition, if you’d like to catch up with the other movies in the series, the first two movies — “The Exorcist” and “Exorcist II: Heretic” — are available on Max via Prime Video, while “The Exorcist III” is on Prime Video proper for Amazon Prime members.

As for the prequel movies, “Exorcist: The Beginning” is on Hulu and “Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcist” is on Peacock. “The Exorcist: Believer” is likely to find a streaming home on Peacock in the near future, as well.
From Blumhouse Productions and director David Gordon Green, “The Exorcist: Believer” is a reboot of the popular film series with a planned trilogy in the works. It follows Victor Fielding (Leslie Odom Jr.), a photographer trying to find answers when his daughter and her friend go missing, but then return possessed by evil forces a few days later. Fielding seeks help from Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn), who experienced the same thing 50 years earlier.
The movie also stars Lidya Jewett, Olivia O’Neill, Jennifer Nettles, Norbert Leo Butz, Ann Dowd and others.
While “The Exorcist: Believer” gained the top spot during its weekend opening, it brought in a modest $107.5 million worldwide box office haul. The movie is still in theaters, while it continues to open in more international markets, such as Ireland, Poland, South Korea and more. Meanwhile, its sequel “The Exorcist: Deceiver” is planned for release in April 2025.
