President Muhammadu Buhari has welcomed former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, into the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Naija News reports that Daniel was a former presidential campaign manager of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election in 2019.
