Relativity Taps Adam Targum to Write Fearless Film on Navy SEAL Adam Brown

Relativity Studios has hired Adam Targum to write the screenplay for military drama “Fearless,” based on the life of Navy SEAL Adam Brown.

Targum is an executive producer on “Banshee” and previously served as an executive producer for “CSI: NY.” His father served with the military in Korea.

Relativity acquired the book and life rights to “Fearless,” based on Eric Blehm’s book about SEAL Team Six operator Adam Brown, last May.

“Adam Brown’s humanity and his unwavering faith through adversity inspired me in a way no other book or story ever has,” Targum said.

Brown battled personal demons, including drug addiction and jail time, to fulfill his childhood dream of becoming a Navy SEAL. He persevered through relapses and injuries to earn a spot on the elite SEAL Team Six and was killed after volunteering for a dangerous mission.

Relativity topper Ryan Kavanaugh and Christy Fletcher of Fletcher and Co. will produce. Tucker Tooley will serve as executive producer. Brett Dahl is overseeing the project on behalf of the studio.

Blehm also wrote “The Only Thing Worth Dying For” and the upcoming “Legend.”

Targum is represented by UTA, and his lawyer is Melissa Rogal at Lichter Grossman.
